universities, colleges, community colleges have been included to help

There are four basic types of financial
aid:
Scholarships: are
a gift aid and may be given on basis of merit or special interest
Grants: are a gift aid, but are given to students who meet certain
criteria for financial need
Loans: Government sponsored student loans are based on eligibility
requirements and most must be repaid, but often offer favorable lender
terms
Work-Study: provides jobs within the college setting for students
with financial need to help pay for education expenses
