The AEF offers a series of parent and student presentations at Abilene High and Cooper High. The AEF is also available to make community presentations upon request. Presentation topics include:

-Why Go to College? Does it really matter?
- How to choose a College
- How to Pay for College
- Financing your College Education
- Navigating Scholarships, Grants and Loans

The AEF also supports and participates in the annual "Planning for College Seminar" sponsored by the Abilene Hispanic Leadership Council. This seminar, held in Fall of each year, is designed to encourage minorities to attend college after graduation from high school. Topics include how to finance a college education, what to expect in college and how to apply to college. The AEF is pleased to be both a financial sponsor and a presenter at the daylong conference for parents and students.
