Descriptions

This fund is designed to assist students interested in pursuing the health care profession. It honors Mrs. Tillie Odam who was the director of Hendrick Hospital's Medical Record Technician School for 24 years. This scholarship was established by Mrs. Odam's son, John, and her former students. The scholarship committee of the Taylor Jones Haskell County Medical Alliance will determine recipients.

Students Eligible to Apply

Students are eligible who have been accepted for admission in an accredited health care technical training program or are currently attending a two year or four year college majoring in some facet of health care. Preference given to an Abilene High graduate or individual studying in the area of medical records.
