Students Eligible to Apply

For students who are planning to attend an accredited four-year college or university in Texas. Applicant must be ranked from #50 to #150 in his/her graduating class to be eligible. Selected on basis of need for financial assistance, academic potential, likelihood of success, and character.

Note: This scholarship renews each year during the college enrollment of the recipient, based upon certain criteria that must be met. For this reason, the scholarships may not be available every year for a new recipient from AHS or Cooper. Check with your high school counselor to determine whether or not this scholarship is available in the current year.

Recipient must: 1) maintain at least a 3.0 (out of a possible 4.0) GPA, 2) complete a minimum of 12 hours of college credit per semester, excluding summers, 3) maintain employment of at least 10 hours per week, and 4) exhibit appropriate conduct.
