This scholarship is awarded annually to an Abilene High School graduating senior who has been an outstanding citizen. The Fund was originally established as the Abilene High Class of 1997 Scholarship, but was renamed to honor Janet Parkey, a long-time teacher and administrator at Abilene High.
Students Eligible to Apply
Senior who has attended AHS the past 3 years and planning to pursue further education in an accredited institution (vocational, junior college or senior college/universty); GPA 80-90; good citizenship; involvement in extracurricular activities and community activities.

Due to certain requirements and paperwork, Cooper and AHS deadlines MAY BE DIFFERENT (earlier) than the final deadlines on the CFA applications in order to allow students ample time to complete. Check with your counselor for your high school deadline!
