Abilene Intercollegiate Scholarship in Computer Science/Information Technology

Descriptions

The Scholarship is tuition-specific and shall not exceed cost of tuition in combination with other institutional scholarships or grants. Interested students may apply to the school(s) of choice by contacting the enrollment services or financial aid office for an application. Applications will be received until June 1st, with awards being made as early as March 1st.

Students Eligible to Apply

Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems majors entering Abilene Christian University, Hardin-Simmons University, or McMurry University may apply for scholarships. Scholarships are available to first-time freshmen or new transfer* students who major in qualified computer science programs.

Number Awarded Annually

$2,000 per year renewable for four years (8 semesters)

Amount of Scholarship

Scholarship awards start at $2,000 per year and are renewable for up to four years (8 semesters). Higher scholarship awards will be considered on a per student basis using ACT/SAT scores (emphasis on math), high school or transfer transcripts, and information provided on the application.
