AISD Planetarium
	The AEF is pleased to be a financial supporter of the newly remodeled and upgraded AISD Planetarium opening in February 2004. Science and Lab equipment to be used by an estimated 50,000 student visitors expected during the coming year have been purchased using AEF funds and donor directed contributions. Specifically, the AEF has provided funding for a Ray Optics Demonstration Set, a laser Ray Box, 2 Kick Dis Power Pucks, a molecular motion demonstrator, and a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Model Car. In keeping with our goal to promote and enhance academic opportunities for area students, the AEF enthusiastically supports planetarium programs that give students hands-on science experiences. The AEF has established an endowment for funds designated for the Planetarium.
